Software Developer / Engineer (Java 8 Linux SpringBoot AWS TDD Radio IP). Would you like to join a collaborative Agile team, working on complex, technically challenging IoT functionality using a range of modern technologies including Java 8, AWS Lambda, SpringBoot and Node?

As a Software Developer you will create the code for the connectivity layer between the device which resides in hundreds of thousands people's homes across the UK and North America and the Cloud platform. You'll design and implement support for various radio and IP based protocols and develop synthetic devices combining multiple ordinary devices into something unique for the home.

You'll be based in the City with a collaborative, technology driven environment.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java backend development experience

*Build tools such as Maven and Gradle

*Good knowledge of Linux OS

*Experience of designing robust, highly scalable systems

*Advocate of Agile development methodologies such as TDD

*Experience with radio and IP based protocols

*Full lifecycle development experience including automated testing

*Collaborative with excellent communication / interpersonal skills
