Windows Systems Engineer / DevOps (Windows SQL VMWare Automation Powershell). Would you like to work on complex and challenging systems as part of a supportive team and drive the adoption of a DevOps, CI/CD environment?

As a Windows Systems Engineer at this global financial software house you will join a newly formed Operations team responsible for the Managed Service platform (SaaS) with the primary focus of developing, maintaining and continuously improving the services, supporting processes, standardisation and availability. You'll be working on a high profile project to move to a DevOps methodology, introducing modern technologies, researching and testing new and existing products and pro-actively contributing to internal projects and companywide initiatives.

Requirements:

*Experience of working in a mission critical Managed Service environment

*Strong knowledge of: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2-2016, Windows Server 2008 R2-2016, Windows failover clustering; Active Directory, Windows DNS and Group Policy; networking, infrastructure and storage, VMWare

*Powershell scripting, good understanding of Windows automation and deployment techniques

*Excellent communication and problem solving skills
