I am working with a leading Medical Device Company based in Sligo. They are currently looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team.

Role: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Sligo

Contract Length: an initial 6 month contract

As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating suppliers & verifying quality standards within the company. You will be responsible for performing regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards & be involved in quality control.

You will identify technical problems with suppliers & implement corrective action while working alongside the Quality team.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain an effective and robust quality system which complies with all relevant regulatory requirements.

- Ensure all supplier activity is effective and documented in a compliant manner.

- Complete in-depth investigations into supplier issues and implement corrective and preventative actions

- Provide overall quality assurance leadership in the management of suppliers.

- Perform supplier quality audits and management of the supplier corrective action process.

Requirements:

- 5 years' experience in Supplier Quality Engineering

- Experience performing Audits

- Strong interpersonal skill

- Good communication skills

- High attention to detail

- Good organisational skills.

- Proven problem-solving skills.
