I'm looking to speak with DevOps engineers in the Manchester area to discuss a contract with one of the most talked about companies in the UK.

Client

Global software company who have a passion for cloud, data and dynamic technology. They develop and build to a high standard employing agile methodologies. Going through a huge period of growth they have a strong recruitment drive to delivery some very unique projects globally.

Role:

* Be responsible for building and maintaining a scalable, secure AWS Real Estate.

* Architect the environment (Cloud/On-Premises) for greater resilience, security and AWS cost savings.

* Assume Web Master duties and look after the corporate websites and the content for all brands.

* Float quite comfortably between Apache, Nginx & IIS.

* Redirects, SSL certs, load balancers and reverse proxies, Route53 and DNS

* Ability to manage the following Amazon Web Services: VPC, VPN, VDI, EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, IAM, Mutli-AZ, Security Groups, Roles, ElastiCache and Load Balancers.

* Ensure the stability of the architecture and worked with other departments and teams to aid in the development and management of production services

* Conduct pen-testing of all components and managed autoscaling for app deployment (desirable)

* Jenkins, Maven, Java, Rundeck, Gitlab & Jira

* Chef, Python, Bash, CloudFormer & CloudFormation

* Logstash, Kibana, ElastiSearch, Sensu, Nagios & NConf
