The applicant must have excellent analytical skills, a structured methodical approach to their work and the ability to remain focused when working under pressure. This person will be highly self-motivated, have previous experience in this field and may hold an IT test qualification, or have a very good systems experience in the agent/hotel bookings sectors.

This is an expanding business and an opening has arisen for a software systems tester to join a dedicated development team.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Testing business and logical case tests and scenarios
- Performing and managing full system regression testing using manual and automated processes
- Be familiar and competent in test methodologies and be able to apply these to real life scenarios
- Maintaining and developing a weekly test schedule, implementing new test strategies
- Developing an automated test strategy
- Liaising with the internal IT team / software developers
- Recording problems and their solutions for future reference
- Demonstrating new system features
- Offering second line technical support to our client services team
- Assisting the Product Development Team with existing and proposed features on all products, and any new project that may arise
The successful candidate will be required to show they:
- Have the ability to learn fast and develop a thorough understanding of complex systems and workflows
- Capable of multi-tasking and working to strict schedules and deadlines
- Attain and maintaining a thorough understanding of evolving applications and multiple platforms
- Experience in using multiple operating systems and/or environments
- Be familiar with case/ticket tracking software and workflow
- Committed, professional with a desire to succeed in a fast-paced business environment
- A proven team player with the ability to integrate effortlessly in a tight-knit team
- Proactive in their approach to work with the ability to 'think on their feet' and offer solutions 'outside the box' in a live environment
- Friendly with a good sense of humour
- Good educational background combined with common sense attitude to work
