£40,000 - £50,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Pension + Holidays

This successful company specialise in the manufacture of high precision parts for the aerospace industry. They are currently as busy as ever, and now seek a Manufacturing Engineer to help meet their increasing demands.

In this role you will be expected to plan, program and verify machining processes for handover for subsequent manufacturing of production batches. You must implement continuous improvements to manage production planning and ensure quality standards are kept. There will also be requirements to enhance the existing programmes by making existing processes more robust and effective, and identify opportunities to modernise them.

The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background and knowledge of CNC machinery, including MasterCAM.

The Role:

*Lead NPI projects from start to end

*Producing CNC programs using MasterCAM

*Ongoing assessment of processes / tooling / fixtures for their relevance and effectiveness

*Continual improvement of process efficiencies & material recovery optimisation

*Hands on technical engineering / project management

*Implement training plans
