ETL Developer/ ETL/Developer/ Contract / Leeds/ £350

My client is looking for an ETL Developer for a 3 Month contract in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating ETL data integration, including related extraction, transformation and load of data functions. The role requires performing Unit Test, validating data flows and preparing ETL processes according to business requirements. You will then incorporate requirements into all design specifications. Develop and perform tests on all ETL codes for system data and analyse all data and design all data mapping techniques for all data models in systems. Test their designs to ensure the system runs smoothly. Design and maintain various data warehouse.

Essential:

*ETL development focused around IBM Datastage 11.3/11.5

*Basic understanding of Banking industry knowledge e.g. customers, products, credit cards, good knowledge of UNIX Systems, analysis skills and some experience in data modelling.

If you have experience with the above it would also be an advantage if you had experience with Hadoop/Hortonworks 2.x, mainframe exposure - EBCDIC/Cobol copybooks.
