The role

Working with the latest technology and test equipment, you’ll make sure our products perform safely, securely and meet the original user requirements. This will see you produce accurate, impartial, clear and concise reports that highlight results and any issues. You’ll then resolve problems by working with designers and end-users. So the ability to communicate technical issues to people with varying knowledge is vital. Whatever the product or system, you’ll deliver everything on time and on budget, and constantly strive for the highest standards. That way, even more people will feel your value.

Your profile

                     You hold an HND or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline such as communications or electronics (or equivalent experience).

                     You can deliver test jigs and production testing using LabVIEW.

                     You’ve got a working knowledge of RF/audio laboratory test equipment and techniques.

                     You have experience devising and performing tests and measurements in LabVIEW for at least one of the following:

o Navigation systems

o IT systems

o Imaging & video

While not essential, working knowledge of the Pxi platforms and qualification in LabVIEW core 1 and 2 would strengthen your application. It would also help if you have experience of different commercial communications systems - including cellular technologies, IP networking, satellite systems, PMR, and short-range telemetry systems.
