Senior Electronic Design Engineer

Southport, Merseyside

£35,000 - £45,000 + Pension + 25 days holiday + Progression + Training

Excellent opportunity for an Electronic Design Engineer with embedded software experience, seeking a role within a prestigious company where you will design cutting edge lighting products for the British transport industry?

This company is a leading manufacturer of LED solutions for the British Transport industry. As part of a global group, their name is recognised across the world for quality & innovation.

Reporting to the Product Design and Development Manager, you will work as part of the Engineering team to develop innovative products for manufacture using new and emerging technologies to support the businesses growth plans. You will also support current products with technical design changes and modifications. The role offers you the chance to put your own stamp on a wide range of key projects. You will interpret customer requirements, review drawings & design innovative LED solutions for manufacture in house.

The ideal candidate will be an Electronic design engineer with previous experience working on analogue and digital projects.

The Role:

* Designing LED solutions for various lighting projects

* Providing engineering support to manufacturing teams

* Create customer & technical requirement specifications

* Attend project meetings & provide updates on work delivery progress

The Person:

* Analogue and digital electronic design experience

* Background working with embedded software (PIC and C).

* Educated to degree level
