Their LoQueue leading-edge virtual queuing solutions get people out of queue lines and uses multiple technology platforms for all kinds of attractions. They help create additional revenue for parks and improve their guests' experience by allowing guests to wait less and enjoy more.

Position Overview

They are currently seeking a Firmware Engineer to join their UK Development Team. The candidate will be familiar with developing for embedded systems using C, with experience of developing for low power microcontrollers. Using these skills, the candidate will be part of a team developing and maintaining their range of queuing hardware products.

They need someone with strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are vital.

They move quickly and look for team members with excellent problem-solving techniques and the ability to make sound decisions. They require self-starters who are able to adapt and learn quickly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Firmware design and implementation

- Firmware and hardware testing, diagnostics and test documentation

- Requirements capture and documentation

- Product support

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Proficiency developing high quality C for embedded systems (ARM M0 - M4)

- Programming hardware devices at register level (bare metal)

- Scripting languages, preferably Python

- Ability to use test equipment (DVM, oscilloscope etc.)

- Experience with serial interfaces (SPI, I2C, 232, 485, CAN, etc.)

- Experience with RFID, Bluetooth BLE, Low power radio, IOT

- Excellent diagnostic skills

- Excellent written and verbal communications

Advantageous Skills:

- Knowledge of RTOS

- Electronics engineering

Education:

BS or BA Science degree (preferably: maths, physics or computing)
