Signal Processing Engineer / Matlab engineer required to develop signal processing algorithms for unique sensing technology products used in the oil and gas industry, telecommunications and engineering. This role would suit candidates with a strong educational background with ideally a PhD (or Distinction at MSc) in Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Signal Processing or Fluid Dynamics

You should be a proficient Matlab user who can identify trends and information from large data sets and be able to create reports for clients. A knowledge or research experience in fluid dynamics, machine learning techniques and data analysis long with excellent maths skills are also required. This Signal Processing Engineer role will be working as part of a small team using Matlab and analysing data from real life engineering projects for optical sensors devices - any experience of Labview for data acquisition would be of interest. Working closely with a software development team algorithms will be implemented into production code, so any experience with C++ software development would be a particular advantage. You will join a fast growing and market leading company that is developing innovative products used in telecoms, oil and gas and engineering. Knowledge or experience with fluid dynamics, CFD or Finite Element Analysis (FEA) would also be of interest.

This Signal Processing Engineer role requires a strong research background and offers an the opportunity to work on data science projects. The role is based in Elstree, and easily commutable from North London, Hertfordshire and Stanmore.
