Mechanical Technician

Exciting opportunity on offer for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established company where you will play a key role in the commissioning and development of bespoke machinery.

Do you have a background in mechanical assembly? Do you have experience working with machinery?

This globally recognized company manufacture different types of rotating machinery for a number of industries. Following a period of rapid growth over the last few years, they have increased both turnover and headcount. Due to this expansion they are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

The role will be based at their main UK site in Ipswich where you will be heavily involved in the assembly and development of their bespoke machinery. You will liaise with the design teams to suggest improvements on the mechanical aspects while taking the lead on exciting

projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical assembly background as well as experience within machine building. Any experience commissioning equipment would be beneficial but not essential.

The Role:

* Assembling/commissioning a range of rotating machinery

* Liaising with the design team

* Suggesting improvements and developments

* Full product training

The person:

* Must have a strong mechanical assembly background

* Must live within a commutable distance of Ipswich
