Programme Manager - Technology Separation Programme

We are actively looking to secure a Programme Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Outline

We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager who can demonstrate successful delivery of complex technology programmes in Fin Tech or Financial Services businesses.

Experience of working with businesses that are encountering multi-dimensional change following significant restructuring is required. Working with Private Equity investors, consultants and reporting at Executive level is desirable. Familiarity with Transitional Services Agreements and experience of working in a global business is preferred.

The Programme

* Situated within the Finance and Risk Business this programme supports the Technology element of the planned separation of Finance and Risk from the parent company following Private Equity investment.

* The multi-year, multi-workstream programme is wide ranging, with complex dependencies and covers the delivery of Infrastructure, IT Security, and Application changes to enable the separation of shared services.

* A minimum of 7 years Technology Programme Management experience is required including working with of $multi - million value programmes.

Key Responsibilities of the role

* Programme structuring, initiation and mobilisation.

* Defining and implementing the programme governance in line with the broader portfolio structure

* Programme level planning, articulation of approach and tracking of progress,

* Programme status reporting prepared for a variety of audiences including Executive and investor.

* Programme budget monitoring.

* Managing risks and issues at the appropriate level and taking corrective measurements

* Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies.

* Tracking of external dependencies.

* Developing and maintaining the resource demand profile for the programme and ensuring commitment to delivery.

* Matrix management of a wide community.

* Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program's "outcome" with the aid of the business change manager

* Working as part of the Portfolio leadership team with the potential to deputise for the Portfolio director from time to time.

Skills and experience required Programme Manager:

* A solid background in Project Management

* At least 7 years successful Programme Management of large complex technology programmes in Financial Services or Fin Tech

* Effective stakeholder communication at executive level including ability to clearly and succinctly describe complex issues.

* Ability to act as an ambassador for the programme

* Strong leadership and management skills including experience of successfully leading matrixed teams.

* Good knowledge of estimating, budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation processes

* Skill in resolving problems - the ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems and present solution options not problems.
