Whether you have a couple of years experience in IT, or simply have a passion for Computer Science and all things techie, the Accelerate AI Academy could be for you. The experience will provide you with the technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to work with confidence in a wide variety of challenging business environments.
The Accelerate AI Academy from BAE Systems is delivered in partnership with QA Consulting where candidates will learn and develop together and feel part of the business from day one. This role is suitable for those looking to further their career within IT, Software or Cyber Security. This is a great opportunity for those with experience looking to enhance their current skill or change careers completely.
Key Programme features

A strong foundation in practical interpersonal and business skills
Business engagement skills with Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering
Working in teams utilising Agile methodologies
World class technical training in Software Development - Java, Application Support and Software Testing and DevOps
Subject Matter Experts (SME's) imparting experience and knowledge to ensure you have the skills to succeed in one of the above roles most suited to you
Practical experience of hands-on learning to solve real life business challenges
Some of our roles will require you to work more sensitive projects in support of the UK Government, meaning you may be required to go through the UK Security clearance process up to DV level. Should you be successful in your application, you will be asked if you are eligible to apply for UK DV clearance. More information will be provided on the Assessment day.

What’s in it for you?
Industry leading intensive training by QA Consulting for 4 months, supporting your development to becoming a technical SME. The training will be held in QA Consulting’s Manchester Academy.
Candidates will be Security Cleared in order to support relevant contracts or projects with the option to advance to enhance clearance and receive an additional pay allowance
On completion of the training you will have achieved SFIA level 3 competency in Software Development, Testing Analysis and Application Support
£20k salary during training
Market leading £26k starting salary upon Academy graduation plus loads of additional benefits
