C# Software Engineer working on an exciting and expanding software product offering of windows applications for an engineering business. You will be working on technical and graphical software applications in C#

You will be working on a new and expanding suite of Windows applications, written in C#, which are used to display complex sensor data, visualise this data in a meaningful way and also to interact with complex sensing hardware. This is a phenomenal growth opportunity for the business as you will be developing new products end to end which have never been developed before.

The team is well established and experienced in developing this kind of software, the role has been created due to an ambitious project pipeline requiring growth in the team.

Ideally candidates will have a track record of developing graphical windows applications using C#, however, candidates with experience working in C++ to create graphical applications on who are interested in learning new languages and tools are more than welcome to apply.

Key Skills:

* Strong appreciation of OO programming

* Experienced in the design of complex desktop WINDOWS applications

* Experienced with C# (Or relevant C++)

* Experience with WinForms, WPF, MFC, QT, OpenGL or other relevant GUI / graphical tools. Winforms is used in house but the team are open to other tools moving forwards.

* Able to demonstrate from several previous roles a structured and organised approach to software design that generates easily maintainable WINDOWS Application Software

Desirable skills:

* Experience with GIT or similar change control system

* C#

* Working with serial communications, Ethernet sockets, USB

* Experience of developing on Linux and Mobile Platforms

* WPF and Windows Universal Apps (UWP)

* C++
