As one of the UK’s leading Telecommunications organisations, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Leader to come in and be the face and the voice for the NOC across the whole business.

Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, the role of the NOC Manager is to lead & support the NOC team, to ensure that operational procedures are carried out correctly. The NOC Manager is also expected to lead the Incident Management team and assist with any issues. Finally, the NOC Manager is expected to work closely with key stakeholders across the business to transition new requirements in to the NOC, along with planning training around these new requirements.

There are 12 member of the current team, these include Shift Managers - this team work shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage of the NOC.

This role does not need an experienced NOC Manager - although of course this would be a benefit, what is however important is the Senior Management experience. This role requires an individual who can lead and transform a department to drive it forward, someone who can bring new ideas to the team and someone who can be the face & the voice across the rest of the business where currently there is little interaction.

Skills Required:

                                         Significant operational management experience

                                         A background within Telecommunications or IT

                                         Proven track record in leading & managing teams

                                         Demonstrable experience of working with senior managers and key stakeholders

                                         ITIL Foundation would be beneficial

                                         Network & Security qualifications would also beneficial

                                         Candidates will need to be Security Cleared (SC) or willing to be
