QA Test Analyst - Permanent - Telford

I am currently on the look out for talented and ambitious Software Tester with up to a years experience in testing software either manual or automated.

My client are offering the successful applicant a chance to test some of the best software on the market and get the opportunity to blossom in a multi disciplined technology environment.

Key responsibilities:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*Testing software to ensure that product owner's requirements are met and delivered

whilst also ensuring that any bugs are highlighted and reported.

*Defining tests based on user stories. Initially these can be written and carried out

manually but eventually they must be written to be automated as part of the CI pipeline.

*Eliciting requirements from product owner's and assisting project managers with any

additional tasks where applicable.

*Reporting bugs/issues to Project Managers.

Experience required:

*Understanding of software testing best practice

*Ability to manage a demanding workload

*Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies

*Up to a years experience in automated or manual software testing

Ideal candidate will be someone from a 1st/2nd line network support role within a communications or ISP environment. The ability to work well under pressure and be able to organise their workload. It's imperative you possess excellent communication skills.
