Information Security Consultant - Disaster Recovery

(CISSP,CISM,DR,Disaster Recovery,DRCP,DRaaS,Security,Cyber Security) My client is seeking an Information Security Consultant with experience delivering DR (Disaster Recovery) Solutions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the technical solution that protects company data, databases, information systems, and technology.

Core Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

* Leads the Disaster Recovery (DR) solution delivery program and IT's ability to respond to disasters and interruptions in an appropriate manner

* Support response and recovery activities during times of crisis, disasters and/or other emergencies and assures that recovery procedures are effective for the restoration of key corporate resources and for the resumption of critical business processes

* Works collaboratively with and provides guidance to areas of IT to ensure recovery solutions are appropriately implemented and supported

* Establishes disaster recovery testing methodologies; plans and coordinates the testing of recovery support and business resumption procedures in different functional area

Skills & Experience Required:

* Extensive Experience with disaster recovery tools

* Proven experience in developing a DR program

* Strong understanding of disaster recovery software (DRaaS - Disaster Recovery as a Service)

* Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to understand technology sufficiently to clearly communicate the complexity in simple terms for key stakeholders

* Detail oriented, with proven ability to mobilise and energise cross-functional teams to implement solutions and complete tasks.

* Demonstrated success participating in complex technology projects with an emphasis on high customer satisfaction

* Cross Domain experience with working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Database Technologies

* Solid problem solving and analytic skills

* Excellent communication skills and customer service acumen

Education/ Certifications (desired)

* Disaster Recovery Certification (DRCP minimum)

* Certification such as CISSP andor CISACISM a plus

* BS/BA degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security or related field or equivalent work experience
