Contract Manager - Nottingham - 6 Month Contract
My client, a large Energy and Utilities company are looking for a Contract Manager to join them on a 6-month contract basis in Nottingham. The role can offer a competitive daily rate and the client are looking for someone to start in the next few weeks.
Role Background:
* Managing the process of creation, negotiation and the ongoing management of Commercial Contracts delivering excellent customer service, value for money and safety performance whilst ensuring adherence to client Corporate Governance.
* This role has a primary focus on management of outsource contact services and telephony infrastructure services but our remit is far broader than this and the post holder can add value across a wide spectrum of activities.
* This shall include Budgetary Control and Business Risk Processes, the primary role being to ensure commercial integrity on all matters and contracts within the annual >£100m Commercial spend.
Required Skills:
* Proven ability to build effective relationships, influence and collaborate with stakeholders, peers and senior management across the client's business.
* Strong commercial and analytical acumen.
* Proven ability to make decisions and deliver against tight deadlines amidst conflicting priorities.
* Pro-active and creative approach to problem solving.
* The ability to challenge established thinking in order to make positive changes to business processes.
* Understand any regulations, policies and processes which relate to the job role and provide fair outcomes when giving service to our customers.
* Candidates should have experience of working with non-IT service providers.
* Extensive experience of working with a number of 3rd party suppliers and drafting/dealing with change requests is also of interest.
* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo a background check prior to going on site.
