An excellent role has become available at a rapidly growing cloud based IT services company for a 2nd / 3rd line technical support engineer, with a focus on Windows Servers and VMware.

You will be working on the latest technology in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment. You will get expert on the job training from a team of highly competent and experienced technical engineers.

The company has seen significant growth year on year and are looking for a 2nd line / 3rd line technical support engineer to work with a range of customers on hosted desktop and cloud solutions.

You will be supporting hosted infrastructure and client equipment. The role is varied and will stretch from platform management, infrastructure/network management, customer builds, projects and day to day support.

The ideal candidate will have experience of (not all essential and the focus being on server/virtualisation over networking and security):

* Windows Operating Systems (Both PC and Server)

* MS Server

* VMWare

* Public Cloud

* Powershell

* Active Directory

* Group Policies

* SQL / IIS

* Firewall Configuration

* Cisco Routing & Switching

* General troubleshooting

A 'can do' attitude is a must and the successful 2nd / 3rd line line technical support engineer will have the opportunity to fast track their career both in terms of knowledge and responsibilities. This rapidly expanding business will present opportunities for both more senior technical and/or management opportunities in the future.

A full driving license is required for this role with some work being conducted on client sites (non drivers may be considered if close to obtaining license)
