One of our global technological consulting partners, who specialise in the energy and utilities sector, is seeking to employ 2 Graduate AI Consultants (Technology Research and Development Consultants ) to join their rapidly expanding team based in the West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to develop and pursue a career within the emerging technologies of today, such as; Artificial Intelligence, IoT and robotics.

You will play an integral role with the assistance of business growth via; forecasting industrial and consumer changes; shaping the business to develop new business ideas; and stay ahead of the curve.

Within this role you will develop your graduate skills and will be involved with the development of state-of-the-art technologies and their research; to in turn disrupt the utilities and energy market. Your role will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), whilst having peripheral projects in other areas such as; Augmented Reality (AR); Virtual Reality (VR); Internet of Things (IoT); and Systems Integration.

Requirements:

Education:

*Degree. (Or Equivalent) in Information Systems Management or Computer Science

Experience:

*Academic research into technology themes such as AI, AR or VR, IoT, and/or Blockchain

*Experience in energy and utilities sector themes - not essential but added bonus

*Hands-on development of demonstrations of technology

*Technology roadmap planning experience

*Coding skills of interest include; C; C++; C#; Unity; Virtalis; Python; R and MATLAB

*Good understanding of technology in business models and approaches to innovation

*Experience of Design Thinking and agile methods

*Knowledge of systems integration including one or more of the following platforms; Amazon Web Services; Azure; Google; IBM; and/or open source technologies

*Awareness in internet protocols and software development using protocols including LoRA, Wi-Fi, BLE, ZigBee, NB-IoT, M2M, 6LoWPAN, or Ethernet

*Working-knowledge of scalability, security, high availability, and operational requirements

*An awareness of OO programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture

*Excellent spoken and written communication skills

*A drive for self improvement and good coding practice
