JOB TITLE: Business Process Manager (BPM) - Operations

REPORTS TO: Group Applications Manager

LOCATION: London / Le Mans, with travel requirements

This role has responsibility for Manufacturing, Planning & Forecasting and associated systems. This will involve co-ordinating the efforts with the other IT Business Process Managers during implementation projects, improvements and tuning to the existing Business systems.

The role will ensure that there is a global design to the relevant applications, that changes are implemented in a timely, tested, approved, co-ordinated and wherever possible, a global fashion. The role will also advise and consult with the business and IT, helping to build out requirements specifications, ensure correct configurations, co-ordinate development and change activities with the in-house team or relevant third parties. The role will ensure that all changes are fully communicated, documented and understood by the global organisation. The key technology focus for this role will be Infor M3, however there is a responsibility to work with other members of the IT team, and their influence will extend to associated systems, including but not limited to; MFG Pro in China, regulatory, FuturMaster forecasting system and other value added systems employed by our client.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Strategic:

1 Be the company's authority on improving our usage of Infor M3 and related systems for operations. This will be done collaboratively with the business and IT teams, and should be based on solid analytics, experience, insight and great instincts.

2 Ensure the delivery of the above plans in alignment with IT, programme and project teams and the company management.

3 Research and make proposals to appropriate stakeholders of how upgrades, developments, new modules, and additional software might be employed to deliver benefits to our client. Either in response to specific business requests or as proactive response to issues and opportunities observed.

Project Management:

1 Working within existing Programmes and controlling your own projects, ensure the execution of the agreed plans, in line with timetable and budget constraints.

2 Plan and allocate work for development team, suppliers and support partners, setting clear work and project objectives.

3 Report to all relevant stakeholders the progress made, any blockers, and openly define priorities.

4 All relevant project progress reporting, to management and project stakeholders.

People, Team and Vendor Management

1 Create, develop and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers of services and internal stakeholders throughout the business.

2 Pro-active communication with key users throughout the global IT and wider organisation. To ensure that plans and application strategy is well understood through the group.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory:

1 Proven track record of Infor M3 ERP implementation andimprovement project delivery, within a consulting partner or client company.

1 Specific experience in manufacturing (Ordering, Scheduling, Capacity planning, Work Centres, Production Cost)

2 Experience in Forecast planning for DOMO's and contract management.

2 Graduate in a relevant degree (IT, project management, business management)

3 Project management qualifications (PRINCE2, PMP or similar)

4 Vendor management experience

Desirable:
