Junior Web Developer - Educational Software & Services

Canterbury, Kent

starting Salary £27,000

We provide online speech and language therapy support services to schools.

Our continued expansion means we have a vacancy for a Junior Web Developer with a numerate degree and ideally one year’s commercial web development experience. Digital media knowledge an advantage.

Good communication skills are essential for this role, as is a flexible and adaptable approach to your work. We are based on campus at the University of Kent, Canterbury and can offer varied and interesting projects, industry training courses and a starting salary of £27,000 pa.

Technical skills:

Experience, knowledge or an interest in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Laravel, PHPm MySQL (no problem if you don't know them all)

Essential people skills:

Ability to communicate technical information to "non-technical" staff. Comfortable communicating with a wide range of other professions and outside contractors
