Cloud Architect - Virtual Banking

A global enterprise are keen to recruit a Cloud Architect for an exciting new project, working on a digital banking platform they have just launched. With a chance to work in a start-up environment, you will play a critical role in the design and development of the digital banking's cloud environment, and assuring that the platform works as designed from an end to end perspective.

This represents a huge opportunity to work closely with the technology team to ensure the delivery of a world class cloud environment and become a champion of the cloud environment architecture!

Key responsibilities include:

* Responsibility for the technical design of the cloud platform architecture including security, storage, compliance, DevOps, data ingestion, deployment and overall platform optimisation.

* Work with stakeholders to translate the business vision into a set of technical capabilities

* Evaluate costs, benefits, risks and opportunities of new technology solutions and initiatives required.

The Cloud Architect will ideally have the following experience and skills:

* Experience in the design and implementation of complex IT solutions

* A deep understanding of technologies in the open source developer ecosystem

* An understanding of the latest developments in NoSQL databases, Containers and Real time analytics solutions

* Strong team working and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
