Java or C# Dev Ops Software Engineer - Python Scripting - Investment Bank

Java or C# Developer who has moved into Dev Ops is required to working within a Dev ops team who have lots of small projects. 1 main programming language, Java or C# (Java beneficial over c#) Some exposure to Virtualisation containers, deployment for infrastructure. The software engineer needs to be able to demonstrate they can easily get involved in trouble shooting outside of their core if need be. A mix of languages is required, as you could be working on Java one day, groovy or python scripting the next, in addition to C# bash etc. Key language preferably Java, but must have good C# as well. Also desirable - groovy/python/Bash. Understands dev ops is and how impacts product. Successful candidate will be a problem solver. Someone who has been a Java/C# but now moving into DevOps. Continuous integration/continuous deployment. Test focussed developer - TDD experience

Role:

The successful Java / C# Dev Ops Software Developer will be working across the dev ops team where they have lots of small projects and an increased workload within the team with more pieces of work coming in. The ideal Dev Ops engineer will have come from Java/C# role and has now decided to move into Dev Ops.
