Length: 5 months daily rate, there is a possible 6 month extension after this.

Start date: 13th of August or as soon thereafter

Interview: 1 round onsite on the 8th of August

Support: We will help you every step of the way in understanding the job, preparing for an interview, organising accommodation and the location. We will also explain how to set up a Ltd/umbrella company, submit timesheets etc. We will also meet/skype you before the interview.

Public Sector Body Information:

This public sector body is responsible for coordinating information produced by other public authorities and for developing the overall administrative records.

They have 650 permanent staff located across Ireland with an additional 100 field-staff deployed throughout. The IT department comprises 100 staff whom are responsible for the provision and support of technology systems and services. There are three main divisions within the Technology Directorate dealing with Architecture, Applications and Infrastructure with teams. There is a mix of internal staff and external service providers.

Project: You will be designing and building a principal application and other bespoke systems using .net tools to support business process.

.Net Developer duties:

* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C# for Web Services in the .NET (Visual Studio) environment.

* Design reliable Data Models and write efficient SQL and Store Procedures in the Microsoft SQL Server (Management Studio) environment.

* Coaching and mentoring the Public Sector Body team

* Provide knowledge transfer to Public Sector Body team

* Assist in exploring and documenting functional requirements for multiple development projects

.Net Developer Skillsets:

Mandatory

* 4+ years' experience of business application development using C#, SQL and Web Services. This experience must have been gained within the last 8 years.

* Developing with C#, SQL and Web Services. Must be able to provide at least two (2) recent project/contract examples that were delivered within the last 4 years

* Skills and knowledge transfer to external Client(s)

* Agile development methodologies

Desirable

* Experience with the public sector
