An established Electronics Development Company seeks an Engineering Technician with a minimum of an ONC/OND in an Electronics discipline and with practical experience of fault finding on microprocessor based circuit boards, PTH/SMT assembly / rework (down to 0402 size components) and with experience of using standard test equipment.

The successful Technician will have the opportunity to get involved with a wide range of tasks over time, providing opportunities for future career development in the high-tech sector.

With good inter-personal skills and organisational abilities, you’ll work closely with project hardware and software engineers, testing the first batch of new products, performing validation testing and verifying production test specifications before release to the production test group. You’ll undertake some electronic assembly and modification work, will maintain the lab equipment and will be confident to multi-task and switch tasks quickly as required.

Familiarity with the use of PCs, their operating systems ( Windows and/or Linux) and installation would be beneficial.
