Injection Moulding Tooling Engineer

Caerphilly, Cardiff, South Wales

£30,000 to £40,000 + Training + Development + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Subsidised Canteen

Excellent opportunity for an engineer from an injection moulding and tooling background to join a market leading organisation offering a stable, days based role with great earning potential.

Through impressive growth this company are now looking to add a Tooling Engineer to their team that specialise within the automotive industry, working with several big names such as Volvo, Nissan, Honda, Toyota and Jaguar Land Rover.

The ideal candidate will have a background with injection moulding and tooling. Experience of purchasing and a technical higher education qualification (level 4 & 5, HNC, HND or Degree) would also be beneficial.

In this role you will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager as you help to cover a selection of suppliers for prototypes and production parts which are key to future business growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading company in a high varied, interesting and well paid role.

The role:

- Support the tooling team

- Assist with purchasing

- Control project tooling cost, timing and quality

- Project work

- Working with suppliers

- Monday to Friday 39 hour week, half day on Friday

The person:

- Technical higher education qualified

- Injection moulding & Tooling experience

- Experience of Injection tool management and purchasing

- Six Sigma experience
