Python Developer (Data Science Pandas NumPy Jupyter). Opportunity to join a technology driven Hedge Fund with multi-billion dollars under management and work with some of the brightest minds in the industry in a challenging and stimulating environment (and enjoy a good work / life balance!).

As a data centric Python Developer you will enable Data Scientists and Quants to bring their strategies to market quickly. The company have invested heavily in building highly effective proprietary platforms to allow researchers to analyse time-series and tick data and back test investment strategies. You will develop tools and libraries to integrate third party and open source data science tooling with in-house data platforms; working directly with Quants and researches to understand their challenges and help deliver tools to solve those problems. You'll also work with the Technology Innovation group to assess and recommend new tools, platforms and approaches and implement them.

You'll be based in fantastic Central London offices with a professional yet friendly and collaborative environment with casual dress code.

Requirements:

*Strong Python development skills including numerical programming using Python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy and tools such as Jupyter

*Experience working closely with data scientists or quantitative researchers

*Confidence to experiment with new ideas and technologies and engineer solutions that will be relied upon by many users

*Finance experience is not required, aptitude and desire to learn about financial markets is

*Record of academic achievement; 2.1 or above from a top tier university gained in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar discipline
