Junior Project Engineer

£24,000-£28,000 + Training + Progression

Excellent role on offer for a junior engineer with design or project management experience, looking to progress their career in a varied role where you will run projects from start to finish within a variety of industries.

Do you have proven experience using any 3D CAD package? Are you looking for a varied role that will involve using hands on engineering, design skills and project management?

This specialist company design and manufacture high end products into a variety of sectors, including Oil and Gas, Marine, Offshore, Nuclear, Rail and more. They started the business in 2007 and have gone from strength to strength. Due to continued success they are looking for an ambitious individual to join the business.

In this varied role, you will work closely with Technical Sales, Design and Production to help you with the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects. In addition, you will have the ability to travel abroad to conduct site surveys on and off shore.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of 3D CAD design and sheet metal component design and manufacture. They will have previous MRP experience. They will have strong interpersonal skills liaising with customers and have experience in project management and /or a manufacturing or engineering environment.

The Role:

* Project Managing

* CAD Designs and Drawings

* Cost Estimating and Budget Planning

* Control and Completion of Project Documentation

* £24,000-£28,000 + Training + Progression

The Person:

* Ideally HNC qualified but not essential

* Ideally has 3D CAD design experience, Solidworks advantageous

* Strong interpersonal skills with experience in an engineering environment

* Live local to Alton, or be in commutable distance
