My client based in Edinburgh has a requirement for an HR Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an internationally recognised client on an initial 6-month contract.
Responsibilities
* Assist in reporting, MI, and analytics across the People, Organisation & Culture Programme
* Working effectively with sensitive and confidential data
* Capturing and manipulating large amounts of data, whilst working at a fast pace with excellent attention to detail.
* Presenting findings and recommendations to key stakeholder groups to enable data driven decisions to be made.
* Partnering with stakeholders in HR and Finance to ensure deliverables and data submission deadlines are met
* Playing a key support role to the Synergy Tracking Workstream to assist with their reporting requirements
* Produce relevant, clear, concise and timely reports
Essential
* Great people skills and analytical ability
* Ability to produce and synthesis multiple complex data sources to achieve a single reporting outputs
* Ability to work at pace
* Comfortable in dealing with information that can be ambiguous
* High level of numeracy, literacy and accuracy
* Excellent organisational skills, prioritising and planning
* Works well under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of delivery
* Capable of self-managing workload, communicating with stakeholders and managing expectations
Desired
* Educated to degree level or relevant business experience
* Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and if statements
* Experience working in HR or a background in HR reporting systems, insights, and dashboards or experience of working within analytics functions with transferable skills to HR
* Story telling with data
* Understanding of data from HR databases and external sources to deliver the required information and analysis
* Experience in using Workday and / or People Online (read access would be provided to each system)
