DEVOPS ENGINEER: (GOOGLE CLOUD PLATFORM, UNIX, WINDOWS, SCRIPTING)

The work location is in LONDON and is a 6 month contract. The daily rate for this role is paying between £575 - £600 per day.

Working for a client on the forefront of major Digital change

Responsibilities:

* Your primary role will be to handle the on-going support of business applications and processes developed and supported by the Technology team mainly on the Google Cloud Platform.

* Incident management and resolution, including root cause analysis and triage of issues

* Encourage and suggest Best Practices on the GCP Platform

* Engage with 3rd party vendors to ensure speedy resolution of issues, and plan future releases

* Impact analysis of change requests, both for projects and small changes

* Proactive service improvement

* Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

* Participation in Change Management processes

* UNIX and Windows Administration

* Unix/SQL scripting

* Big Data/Cloudera
