This is a chance to work with an award-winning Tech company in Amsterdam who are rapidly growing and seeking Android Developers to join their team and design and develop Android apps.

My client is a young and very ambitious company who develop branded apps across mobile and tablet devices in Android and iOS.

Role

The Android Developer is responsible for designing and developing Android apps. During the design and development, you will build bridges between iOS and Android and will advise company/client on best solutions to problems on both platforms.

As an Android Developer you will work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, a place where there is constant challenge, bleeding edge technology with exciting various innovative projects and you will be given the opportunity to grow and implement your own ideas. The team consists of CEO, MD, Project Managers, Designers, Software Engineers, Android Developer and Producer.

This role is perfect for an enthusiastic, creative and highly passionate Android Engineer who wants to develop their career.

Essential skills for the Android Engineer:

·2 years + in mobile app development

·Experience with Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio or IntelliJ

·Knowledge around Git, Maven, Gradle or Jenkins

·Experience working in an Agile environment

·A can-do attitude

·Good knowledge of written and oral English

Desirable skills for Android Engineer:

·Experience with RxJava

·Dutch speaking desirable but not essential

·Knowledge of JSON / XML

·Experience in iOS SDK
