A brand-new opportunity has just become available for a Systems Engineer (Citrix/Windows) to join an international, market-leading informatics business. The Systems Engineer (Citrix/Windows) is responsible for the day-to-day provisioning, installation and configuration, operation, and maintenance of the virtual infrastructure, focusing on the Windows platform.

Working as a Systems Engineer (Citrix/Windows) your role will include:

* Providing Tier III support for the virtual infrastructure by investigating and troubleshooting incidents and issues to resolution and providing well documented status updates.

* Providing daily support for Citrix XenApp /XenDesktop environment for users in various geographical locations.

* New system delivery, preventative maintenance, and proactive availability.

* Development of deployment and test plans.

* Contributing to the approval of new or amended IT standards, procedures and other quality managed processes.

To be considered for the Systems Engineer (Citrix/Windows) position, you will need to demonstrate:

* Good knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 environments.

* Knowledge of Citrix XenApp 6.X architecture and components.

* Knowledge of Citrix NetScaler 11.X and above.

* Strong technical knowledge VMware vSphere, including 6.0.

* Understanding of automation, with knowledge of PowerShell and other scripting languages.

* Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure applications and processes, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, caching and intrusion detection.
