Programme/ Portfolio Manager- Professional Services- Maternity Cover/ FTC
A Programme/ Portfolio Manager is required to join the Professional Services team of a Global, blue-chip organisation. You will be leading a team of Project Managers and a PMO resource to ensure provision of the best implementation and support services for their range of compliance eLearning programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a generalist Programme/ Portfolio Manager to diversify their skills in a new area, working with a varied client base, as part of a supporting and collaborative team.
As a Programme/ Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for:
* Line Management of a team of 6 Project Managers and a PMO resource, managing related P&L
* Collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams
* Ensuring appropriate resources are planned across the portfolio to successfully deliver the Global, Regional or Functional projects to time and budget
* Engaging with senior management in strategic direction and priority setting for the portfolio
* Managing client escalations
* Leading estimating and scoping sessions with the clients
* Promoting adherence to standard practices and processes
* Resolving conflicts between priorities within the portfolio
The successful candidate will be a generalist Programme/ Portfolio Manager with previous experience of managing a team, within a Professional Services/ client facing environment. You should also have experience of being involved in pre-sales/ pricing conversations and experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
