Research Analyst

Permanent - Full Time

City of London

The post holder will successfully develop, manage and deliver research in order to contribute to The Clients role to protect consumers and contribute to financial stability. To engage and contribute to international bodies' research projects and support UK regulatory initiatives, in particular by analysing potential impact for The Client.

What you will deliver;

*Work closely with The Clients Head of International Liaison and Research

*Identify new issues, topics and research questions for The Client

*Monitor external research and policy developments in the international sphere, in particular financial regulation and Brexit

*Write papers, reports and research summaries for internal and external audiences

*Undertake detailed research on policy issues as required by the International and Research team

*Respond to external and internal research enquiries.

*Engage with and undertake research relating to international organisations.

Experience;

*Experience with research and policy alongside excellent research and analysis skills

*Educated to degree level

*Proven written and presentation skills in a range of formats and to a range of audiences.

*Skills and experience in appropriate research methodologies including an ability to analyse quantitative data and present results in a clear and understandable manner

*Creativity, enthusiasm, inquisitiveness and the ability to problem solve

*Confident team player who can build effective internal and external relationships

*Ability to be flexible in a continually changing environment and evolving business objectives

Experience or understanding of wider European, international policy climate and UK financial regulatory structure an advantage.
