Oracle E-Business Suite, Data Migration Specialist - Berkshire - 6 Month Contract (Extendable)

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Berkshire area for a Data Migration Specialist. The successful candidate will be working on an innovative large-scale project for a renowned company with a strong foundation within the retail sector. In this role you will be working in conjunction with your project counterparts, thus enabling the company to find a solution that supports the determined business requirements.

The suggested role consists of a 6 month contract where you will be assisting with the successful migration of data from a legacy system to a newly implemented system of Oracle Retail Suite 15. Consequently, the role will also entail working closely with Oracle Retail XStore Point-of-Service as well as the associating merchandising solutions. The successful candidate will exhibit comprehensive technical expertise and proven experience within previous large data migration projects.

Required Skills:

* Demonstrable experience of data migration within large-scale Oracle projects (preferably in relation to Oracle E-Business Suite).

* Key knowledge on the data migration procedure of design/build/test.

* Strong comprehension of the importance of data cleansing, whilst also having the ability to address all issues that may arise as a consequence of this process.

* A fluent understanding of Oracle Retail Suite, with an experience of release 15 being an advantage, but not essential.

* First-rate communication skills; both verbal and written.

* Excellent time management and organisation skills.
