Network Security Engineer - Edinburgh - 6 Months

We have an urgent opportunity live in Edinburgh with our client who requires a contractor to join them to assist in the smooth running of their day to day activities and some major projects over the coming months.

Our UK leading client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to take on the role of Network Security Engineer. Within this role you will be responsible for the support, maintenance and development of the network and systems security deployment across the entire organisation. You will work with various customers in supporting and managing their IT systems, which includes maintaining and supporting their network operations, service delivery and quality control of their IT systems. You will need to have a flexible attitude to work, along with great communication skills and an end user focused approach.

For this role you must have:

* Significant technical experience in a similar role

* Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP and common routing protocols

* Knowledge and experience in Security products (such as Cisco, Juniper, etc..)

* Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Check Point

Please note:

* You must be able to drive, as you will be required to visit client/customer sites

* This role may require Monday to Sunday out of hours/on call working, where necessary
