Role: Senior Web Developer

Contract: 6 months (initially)

Location: Manchester

Rate: Competitive

My client, a delivery management software company are looking for a skilled Senior Web Developer to join their team. The ever growing teams are working on exciting Greenfield development projects, as well as enhancing and maintaining existing products.

Requirements

You will be challenged to design and build a series of massively scalable microservices in .net core.

Essentials

* C# on .net 4.5

* React.js or other modern front-end framework

* Working with a Continuous Delivery pipeline

* SQL with handwritten, performant queries and stored procedures

* Testing - unit & integration testing

* Cloud native application development, utilising PaaS

Desirables

* Docker and Kubernetes

* Performance and scalability tuning and testing

* Caching and managing the lifetime of cached data

* Use of NoSQL ,CosmosDB, Cassandra, Document DB

* designing APIs for mobile applications is also helpful
