My client designs and manufactures innovative low energy converged hardware and software systems that help enterprise datacenters, cloud services providers, web organizations, web services and content providers to achieve better results in terms of cost savings, revenue acceleration and operational efficiency.

As an Applications Engineer you are required to develop platform software for new products on multiple platforms and benchmarking the products against other solutions in the market.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop and test user space application software on Linux.

* Interact with customers to advice and provide them with different platform configurations.

* Benchmarking of the products.

Essential Requirements

* Embedded C, C++ programming.

* Engineering level Degree or relevant experience.

* Experience of Open Source software, Linux build processes, deployment and testing.

* Knowledge and experience of Linux file system structures, scripting and configuration.

* Working knowledge in Python, Rest Api, Java Script.

* Application development using integrated third party libraries.

* Documentation and version control

* Hands-on experience of system-level evaluation and benchmarking.

* Various networking protocols.

* Proven product development track record.

* Experience in Agile mode of working Environment.

Desired Skills

* Cloud computing and -as-a-service paradigms such as Maas, JuJu and Openstack

* UML design
