Job Description:

* Cross-technology skilled & highly experienced subject matter expert who can lead on complex projects

* Higher than average work output

* Leveraged across multiple restricted accounts

* 10+ years' experience

* Build for Operations: implement/administer systems and hardware that are consistently stable, reliable and to requirements. Resolving defects before handing over to Operations.

* Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills

* Strong automation skills

* Strong documentation & training skills for Operations

* Involvement in Operational Readiness Reviews

* working to high pressure deadlines & budgets

* Essential Technology & Skills - AIX /Sun Solaris / Red Hat Linux engineering, HDS / EMC / NetApp / Storage Arrays /

Essential Experience:

* Agile/DevOps/Scrum project delivery: working closely with Project Management & Technical Capability & Technical Architects

* Essential Technology & Skills - AIX /Sun Solaris / Red Hat Linux engineering, HDS / EMC / NetApp / Storage Arrays /

* HDS Cloud, AIX /Sun Solaris / Red Hat Linux engineering. Storage Arrays

* Awareness of ITIL principles

* Required working knowledge of:

* Solaris 8&9 branded zones within Solaris 10 containers

* Avamar

* SAN configuration

Desirable requirements:

* Industry qualifications ie MCSE or equivalent

* Experience of supporting Exchange preferable

* Knowledge of HP-UX

* Knowledge of Sun LDOMs

Out of hours and weekend work may be required.
