A well-known Food Ingredients Manufacturer in the North West of England are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to come on board and join their fast paced, growing team. This is a brand new role for the company due to new up and coming sizable capital projects (up to £5m).

You will have full responsibility of Maintenance planning for the whole site. You will either be Shift Technician already, or a Maintenance Planner working for a small-medium company, looking to broaden your horizons and work in a larger site. You may be on shift work, and looking for a day time role. You will be from a food processing (ingredients or brewery)/Chemical processing/ oil and gas background. With experience working on SAP/ Maximo/ Piranha, or other planning tech.

You will have experience planning 'preventative maintenance', root-cause analysis, scheduled/unscheduled plant shut downs, prioritising maintenance requests, and reducing the backlog of requests. You will therefore be a process driven, organised and methodical individual.

You will have a HND/HNC or degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation engineering.

You will be looking for a role with progression opportunities, this role can go into a Maintenance Manager position, therefore having a clear development path.
