SC Cleared End User Computing Build Engineer

£200-225 per day

East Kilbride

My Government client are currently looking for an End User Computing Build Engineer to work with them on a 3 month contract with extensions.

Key Skills:

*Build to order, EUC devices to quality standards, adhering to end to end processes

*Installation and upgrade of equipment covering Desktops, Laptops, Multi Functional Devices and OS builds

*Work with the technical team to maintain the patch status

*Ensure configuration management is maintained

*Apply asset management as part of the deployment process

*Ensure delivery of EUC devices out to customer sites to an agreed schedule

*Amend processes and training materials as required

*Provision second line support, for the EUC devices, as required

*Resolution of incident and problems interacting with the Service Desk

*Collaborative working with other teams where required

*Adopt and adapt to continuous improvement requirements during Partner delivery

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

*Experience of imaging desktops and laptops (Linux OS would be an advantage)

*Experience of hardware and peripherals installation and related troubleshooting

*Experience of the ITIL Service Management framework

*Experience of an IT Service Management (ITSM) tool

*Exposure working within Government

*Previous experience of a Laptop or PC roll out would be a distinct advantage
