UI Developer- Blackpool - 6 Month Contract up to £470 per day- 1 Day Remote Working

My client are looking for an experienced for UI Developer to join them on a greenfield project, working part of a multi-disciplinary agile team you will be able to get hit the ground running having experience with HTML5, CSS and Javascript.

You will work with the creative team to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, playing a key role in how applications should look and work.

Responsibilities

* Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to develop web applications and components

* Improve the performance of pages

* Work with back-ends to integrate templates and functionalities

* Being able to break down tasks and provide estimates

* Communicate effectively in both technical and business environments

Work experience / Technical skills, The following skills are vital:

* HTML5 (you write clean, valid, efficient, semantic markup)

* Responsive Web Design (able to implement mobile first RWD)

* JavaScript (including OOP, AJAX, jQuery)

* CSS (scalable, modular CSS, experience

Nice to have:

* Government Digital Services toolkit

* TDD experience

* NodeJS

* Tasks runners (Gulp, Grunt)

* Templating
