Role: Process Engineering Development ManagerSalary: £70,000 - 80,000 + BenefitsLocation: Based on the outskirts of Oxford.My client is a medical device company, who designs and manufactures a range of innovative products which revolutionise the industry. They are constantly looking to develop and introduce new products onto the market in order to growth their market share, so it is an exciting place to be.They are now looking to recruit into their senior manufacturing team, which is where you come in...You will lead a team of technical engineers and work closely with all senior functions to develop products and processes. As this company grows and develops, you will be given the opportunity to make fundamental changes, improvements and innovations in a order to increase their market share.An outline of the role:

'€¢Broad and proven experience working in a high-tech environment, highly regulated would be beneficial'€¢Process optimisation and development experience, working in conjunction with the engineering team'€¢Process line modelling to input to specification'€¢Technical Ownership of their manufacturing process'€¢Working closely with R&D to introduce and develop new products.'€¢Financial experience, overseeing costs, budgets & forecasts'€¢Drive continuous improvements & LEAN throughout the manufacturing unit. '€¢Develop processes to ensure a smooth and cost effective operation of the department and sites.'€¢Maximise efficiencies, productivity and processes '€¢Project management experience '€¢Experience in the production of high tolerance precision devices e.g. medical devices, consumer electronics, optical systems or small electro-mechanical devices.'€¢Knowledge of adhesives, ultrasonic welding, laser cutting, fluid handling, thin-film coating and handling of small components.'€¢Experience of working in accordance to ISO 13485, MDD and FDA 21 CFR regulations preferred but not essential.'€¢Degree educated/or equivalent
