In this exciting role, you will be joining the Automated Vehicle team, a cutting edge department within the Product Engineering function of one of the world's most iconic automotive brands.

Tasks Include:

* Customer Requirements Specification and Design - carrying out a full range of functional analyses and investigations, preparing customer requirements specifications and developing functional designs

* Functional Architecture

* Validation and Design Verification

* Responsible for the design, development and delivery of vehicle level automated driving features.

Required Skills:

* MBSE and SysML

* System Architecture design

* Requirements Capture & Design

* Requirement management

* Functional Safety (ISO26262)

* Quality methods (DFMEA)

* Vehicle & Module Validation concepts

* Experience in automotive (or equivalent e.g. transportation, aerospace etc.) distributed systems

* Degree educated in Engineering or industry relevant equivalent.

* Six Sigma certified is desirable

The ideal candidate will have:

* Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally if there is a business requirement.

* Good document writing and presentation skills

* Ability to work effectively within technical teams

* Having a real enthusiasm for developing complex systems

* Excellent communications skills and a strong team player.

* Problem solving (5Ds, 5Whys etc.)

* Experience in delivering innovative complex distributed systems

* Project Management, Team Management
