LYNQ is a global provider of manufacturing execution system (MES) software for small to midsize manufacturers across a variety of industries.
Our Smart Manager platform connects with ERP or PLM systems to offer a unique level of delivery, cost and quality control of manufacturing operations for job shop, batch production, production line and mixed mode environments.
Due to expansion, LYNQ have an immediate need for a Solutions Consultant, preferably with strong experience of manufacturing execution systems.
This role will use your manufacturing, consultancy and project management skills to deliver customer projects, ultimately ensuring the customer gains beneficial use of the solutions you have implemented.
Working from our UK office you will join an existing team of Solutions Consultants. As a Solutions Consultant, you will manage the delivery of multiple remote based implementations, for manufacturers based in the UK, USA, Canada and other countries. This role may involve some travel both nationally and internationally. Candidates that have worked or are working in either a Production Planning or Cost Accounting role, with desire to move into a technology focused career will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Start Up and initiate MES Projects
Direct and control all MES Project phases
Manage and complete tasks within the work breakdown structure that are of a non-technical nature
Implement LYNQ MES Projects remotely
Provide communication management throughout the project lifecycle to all stakeholders
Produce factory process documentation and develop MES solutions to suit the needs of the customer
Lead workshops with the customer
Training of client and/or partner resources
Coordination of pilot and user acceptance testing
Go live assistance and support
Project close out and handover to the support team1
Contribute and/or authoring online help, training materials, blogs
Provide feedback to product steering group of issues and valuable enhancements
Experience, Skills and Behaviours:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience using or implementing manufacturing execution systems
Knowledge of ERP and/or PLM systems
Good understanding of manufacturing master data such as work centres, BOM, routings…
Clear understanding of manufacturing processes, methods and techniques
CRM experience with products such as MS Dynamics
Excellent communication skills both verbal written
Ability to listen, assess and document information from client
Experience leading or conducting meetings and presentations
To be able to work to specific project plans and deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team with minimal supervision
Proactive thinking and a ‘can do’ attitude
