An established Technology Company seeks a Systems Support Engineer with excellent communication skills and ideally with previous experience of working with audio applications. You’ll have familiarity with Linux and Windows fundamentals as well as configuring and troubleshooting IP networks.

In this Support Engineer role you will provide telephone and email support, investigating and responding to problems promptly, as well as providing on-site support and interfacing with other departments.

You will ideally be qualified to Degree level in Computer Science, Electronics or a similar Engineering related discipline, have some experience with System Testing and/or Product qualification and will have some previous experience with site installation and commissioning of hardware.

Key Skills & Experience should include some /all of the following:

                     Helpdesk / technical support background.

                     Excellent communication skills.

                     Working with audio such as amplifiers, speakers, microphones etc.

                     Linux fundamentals - configuring and troubleshooting.

                     TCP/IP Networking.

                     Windows fundamentals.

                     System Testing / Product qualification.

                     Site installation and commissioning.

                     Ability to travel to customer sites in both UK and abroad.
