Senior .net/C# Developer required by a Global Insurer based in the Reigate area. Due to continued growth my client is looking to immediately recruit two additional Senior Developers. They are looking for top end experienced Developers to join the existing core development team where your day to day tasks/responsibilities include the below. Ideally candidates will have 5 - 10+ years' experience in a similar Developer role with excellent experience of C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web APIs, Web Forms gained in an Agile environment Key Requirements:

'€¢Minimum 5 years software development'€¢Agile software development'€¢Excellent software development skills - C#, SQL, XSLT, WCF, Web Api, ASP.NET'€¢BSc in Computer Science or similar'€¢Design and implementation of services using WCF or other service-oriented technologies'€¢Experience using Visual Studio and Git'€¢Excellent Object Oriented Design skills (Design Patterns, SOLID)'€¢Test Driven Design'€¢Experience of continuous integration, continuous deployment and automated integration testing'€¢Able to operate independently within defined methodologies, procedures, and guidelines'€¢First class communication skills'€¢Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a mathematical mind'€¢Sound technical writing skills

Key Responsibilities:

'€¢Delivering software whilst adhering to coding standards and best practices'€¢Working with the test team to define automated tests and resolve issues '€¢Working with Business Analysts to ensure an understanding of business requirements and functional design.'€¢Design of new web based software solutions and modifying, enhancing and/or adapting current web based systems.'€¢Production of any necessary technical documentation.'€¢Supporting the continual improvement of the web development function

 Other experience:

'€¢Excellent grasp of object-oriented programming & SOLID design principles '€¢Experience of continuous integration tools, eg TeamCity '€¢Exposure to working with .NET ORM tools such as Entity Framework and/or Fluent NHibernate, Entity Framework.'€¢A working knowledge of OO JavaScript and experience of working with popular frameworks eg TypeScript, AngularJS, Knockout.JS, jQuery etc'€¢Ideally working with Oracle RDBMS or a similar database'€¢An understanding of infrastructure automation.
