Technical Delivery Manager

We have an opportunity for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join Experis on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of our Employed Consultant team, on site with one of our telecoms clients, based in London. The Role

Our client's consumer's data management, reporting and analytics team have a pipeline of key, critical major projects to deliver over the next six months.

The purpose of the Delivery Manager's role is to coordinate the delivery of projects between internal marketing/commercial customers and subject matter experts across data management, reporting, analytics team and IT partners.

Responsibilities include

* Be the delivery manager for key reporting and analytics build and delivery projects for the client's Consumer department.

* Ensure Consumer's reporting and analysis requirements are understood and delivered on time

* Combine business knowledge and technical expertise to filter out the core priority requirements from the chatter/noise

* Ensure the solution aligns to the business requirements:

* Plan the deliveries, assigning resources, priorities, dependencies, timescales and run through any prototyping when necessary

* Work closely with the SME and IT function to deliver the appropriate solution

* Regularly communicate progress and organise checkpoints with the business

* Demonstrate best agile delivery practices and conform to agreed standards, processes and procedures

* Ensure any deliveries either in Pre-Prod or Prod are thoroughly tested and signed off before being available to end customers

* Find opportunities to simplify the delivery of solutions by stripping out complexity and duplication

* Ensure the production of written documentation covering deliveries are clear and rigorous to aid control and knowledge sharing

* Identify opportunities to improve reporting data capabilities when working through requirements with business and stakeholders.

* Previous experience using workstack tools such as JIRA and methodologies such as AGILE would be advantageous

Essential skills/Knowledge

* Own and develop strong relationships with designated customer base and key suppliers

* Can communicate with customers and stakeholders effectively with progress, issues

* Able to work within tight timescales and manage customer expectations, often dealing with demanding customers.

* Demonstrate leadership in utilising resource cost effectively and deliver to the priorities of the business

* Experience working with a variety of different teams, often both on-shore and off-shore

* Can identify root causes for complaints and co-ordinate appropriate fixes

* Acts within the legal ,regulatory and commercial constraints on use of customer/personal data

* Previous experience working in Business Intelligence

Desirable

* Previous experience using workstack tools such as JIRA and AGILE delivery methodologies

* Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent IT Experience
